It inherits the spirit of crafting items that can be treasured in daily life by engraving patterns with wishes and auspicious meanings onto finely colored silk. This collection is titled "The Joyful Tiger." It takes the White Tiger (Baekho), one of the Four Divine Beasts (Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Black Tortoise, and Vermilion Bird) that guard the four cardinal directions and protects the west, as its motif. The valiant white tiger pattern engraved on Gyeongbokgung Palace's Youngjuchun Gate is captured on yangdan fabric, reinterpreting the aesthetic sensibility and philosophy of ancient people embedded in Korean palace architecture as everyday accessories.
