Inspired by saekdong discovered on the backing paper of a scroll document from the time of King Yeongjo's enthronement of Queen Jeongsun Kim, it has been reinterpreted in Hoho-dang's distinctive style to create two color variations. Characterized by a substantial and refined color palette that evokes the restrained clothing of scholars and brings to mind the covers of ancient books bearing the weight of time. Saekdong originally means "possessing all colors" and is a traditional pattern used not only for children's first birthday celebrations but also for various precious occasions meant to ward off misfortune and bring blessings. The skirt becomes a lively accent when worn with a solid-colored jeogori (jacket). With the purchase of both jeogori and skirt set, a hanbok pouch will be included as a gift.
