A set of 3 knot cards created in collaboration between Hohojang and Toolpress. Hohojang is a place that thoughtfully introduces items related to Korean life rituals and ceremonies, presenting various works that embody the joy, sorrow, and gratitude found in everyday life. These knot cards are themed around Korean traditional knots that carry the wisdom and aesthetic sensibility of our ancestors, expressing our daily lives, nature, and human relationships in the form of knots. Viola and Paris Knot A card featuring violets, whose flower language means sincerity, humility, and love. The violet, blooming modestly yet warmly in purple, carries wishes to achieve one's goals. It harmonizes with the Paris (butterfly) knot, named for its resemblance to butterfly wings. Chestnut and Dorae Knot A card featuring chestnuts, a fruit essential to Korean life ceremonies. Representing multiple sons (多男), the chestnut is deeply connected to wedding customs and is paired with the Dorae knot, the most fundamental of all knots. It conveys the meaning that a strong foundation is necessary to move forward. Swallow and Dongshim-gyeol Knot A depiction of a swallow, symbolizing spring and good fortune, sitting on lingzhi mushroom (considered an elixir of immortality) and tying knots playfully. The Dongshim-gyeol knot represents eternity and is traditionally used for auspicious occasions, including as decorative ties for fortune bags, jewelry boxes, and ceremonial wrapping cloths for 60th and 61st birthday celebrations. Types: Viola and Paris Knot / Chestnut and Dorae Knot / Swallow and Dongshim-gyeol Knot Price: 6,500 won each 3-piece set: 17,000 won
